Meet the IT security experts

Mark Sly, director of Architecture and Security, Sean Murray, lead, IT Security Operations, and Paige Hong, analyst, IT Security Operations have a combined experience of almost 40 years in IT security. Together, along with other members of the security team, they implement processes, measures and systems to safeguard UCalgary’s information using technology to shield against cybercriminals. Keeping the university's equipment and network safe is an important responsibility and a difficult task given the variety of work being done by the campus community.
